19 weeks pregnant – the changes in you
It is around this time that you feel your baby moving for the first time. At first you might doubt if it is the baby moving or just your own digestive system. Many women compare it to the sensation of a butterfly fluttering in the belly. After a number of times of feeling this you can be sure it is the baby. Your partner will not be able to feel this yet but he won’t have to wait long. The movements will soon become stronger so that the movements can be felt from the outside too.
19 weeks pregnant – how is your baby growing?
Your baby is now approximately 22 centimetres long and weighs about 250 to 290 grams. The downy hair slowly disappears and a thicker hair takes its place. The baby’s eyes are developing further and he/she can now see the difference between light and dark. He also will be practicing with his eye muscles by moving the eyes from straight to cross-eyed.
