Temperature method | Measuring body temperature when you want to get pregnant

During the second half of your cycle (after ovulation), your body temperature rises between 0.3 and 0.5 degrees Celsius. If you get pregnant, your temperature remains high. When you have your period, the temperature drops. Measuring temperature differences and keeping them in a graph will help you determine if ovulation has occurred and when. In order to do this, you will have to measure your b temperature for two consecutive months and you will then get an idea of how your cycle unfolds. For women with irregular cycles, it can give an indication, but it is less reliable.

Measure your temperature every morning before you get up (before you go pee, etc.) and note it directly on a graph. You will notice at some point that a significant increase occurs. You can also take notes of how your body changes. Using this method, some women claim that they are able to feel their ovulation.

The temperature method requires dedication and unfortunately does not allow you to react at the time the information is collected. Indeed, when the temperature rises, ovulation has already occurred. However, you can discover a repetition that can steer you in the months to come. Then you will only have to make love more often at the time of ovulation.
